In order to add items to your repertoire, we require the piece to be in our database. This database currently comprises over 90,000 pieces and is updated and extended steadily. As of this requirement, we offer everyone the opportunity to search, edit and extend the database as long as he or she is a comusico member.
The repertoire feature is available for musicians and ensembles and is managed independently. The interface however is identically and can be accessed via Cockpit -> Profile -> Repertoire.
About the search field The included search is quite powerful and it might help to say a few words about how to use it. First of all you can combine multiple pieces of data such as the composer name, opus, or parts of the piece's title. But please use the original name of the composer or title of the piece.
Many items in the database are already tagged with the proper opus number. So it might be much easier to just add the name of the composer with the opus number in order to find a single piece.
Another important feature is the use of placeholders. Especially with the use of original titles we often see problems related to titles such as "Sonate" and "Sonata". In order to prevent those problems you can just add "Sonat" which will find titles with both words. So whenever you are not sure or cannot find a specific title, try to use the asterisk "".
